Bite size – What do we mean by ‘gamification’?

Welcome to Bite Size – our bi-monthly blog where we explore a topic in bite size form – short, sharp and easy to digest

Change – it’s happening everywhere. From the consequences of Brexit to the economic uncertainty worldwide. How can leaders lead and master change, though?

This year, at CLP, we are focusing on Change with a series of half-day workshops in Germany, Belgium and the UK. During these workshops we will be exploring new tools and approaches to help teams and stakeholders to succeed in change initiatives.

A major part of the workshop will focus on simulating change challenges with an interactive session that simulates decisions and actions in challenging environments.

The process we use involves an interactive change game, hence us using the term ‘gamification’.

Our ‘gamification’ approach will demonstrate:

  • Who is opposed to change
  • How you can build trust within the organisation
  • Who is the ally that can help get others on board
  • What are powerful initiatives and interventions to move “the change”

We ask you to use ‘gaming’ in a new way, to identify, what, where and when you need to move next on the business board game to progress in your industry.

Who should attend?

We think these free of charge sessions will appeal to external participants, such as HRD and Change Professionals from other industries, whom we would like to invite to network and share expertise. However, it is also as important for internal participants who are members of their own Change and HRD departments, as well as leaders and team members who are facing change challenges, to come along.

We hope to see you at one of the workshops throughout the year.
