Riya is the driving force behind IDG’s operations in India, and gets results by nurturing valuable relationships. Adept at managing the entire learning programme lifecycle, she’s involved in every aspect of our offering, from designing and delivering programmes to getting to know clients and leading our India-focused teams.
Riya has devised solutions for blue chip clients all over the world, from Singapore to Australia, and spanning industries including IT, banking, and manufacturing. As a programme facilitator, she’s received praise from the likes of Barclaycard, Travelex, World Bank, Syntel, Symantec, Essar, Piaggio, Aon Hewitt, Alfa Laval, Bajaj Auto, Korn Ferry, and BlackRock – to name just a few.
Before joining IDG in 2012, Riya was Capgemini’s Facilitator for Global Leadership Programmes, where she worked with the company’s financial services clients.
She has a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) and a Diploma in Information Systems. Riya is also qualified to use the MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) and DiSC psychometric assessment tools, and helps clients apply insights to boost team performance.
Riya is the former president of the prestigious National Human Resource Development (NHRD) network in Pune. In 2018, NHRD Pune won the Best Chapter Award following 25 years of Riya’s leadership.
