Starting from an apprenticeship at City & Guilds my experience ranges from the online promotion of a start-up political party to working in the data centric world of programmatic marketing and have learnt that Digital Marketing, a broad term, is hard to fully grasp but involves one thing – people.
‘People, ideas, machines — in that order.’ If we take this famous quote then my passion is people, how they think individually and therefore collectively, then intuitively understanding the importance of a great idea and finally moving to look at what has and has not worked through the boundless data the modern world provides. Part of my marketing role will be creating a widespread understanding of the many aspects of change and leadership at CLP. To put it simply, digital marketing is the improvement of your online shop front.
Outside of work I’ll be playing (low-level) football, hiking the many munros of Scotland (or streets of London).
