Remote First Culture Workshop Decription
About five years ago, virtual meetings or trainings were virtually unheard of, let alone adopted. But slowly, as time and technology moved forward, the market started to ask for blended learning, contact with remote teams and the odd video conference.
Roll forward to today and it seems the whole corporate world has embraced a remote-friendly organisational culture. But drive that thought a bit further and imagine an organisational culture that could be remote-first! A remote-first culture can be achieved through detecting and removing obstacles in four areas: physical, personal, work and leadership.
In Remote First you will be able to explore your leadership versatility in the virtual world and to step up your team’s and your organisation’s readiness to work in a remote-first manner. This training will give you practical experience in how you can best balance the partly contradictory leadership roles of empowering your team and at the same time holding them accountable, or of being future-oriented as well as staying up-to-date on operative issues.
Remote First is a human-focused virtual classroom experience that combines the best of modern technology with the uniqueness of interpersonal connection. We challenge the assumptions of working virtually and focus on creating a trustful online environment where we feel safe to share and learn from each other.
This classroom experience works best with a small virtual group of up to 10 participants to create opportunities to exchange and to learn from each other. This is a 3 hour virtual classroom experience, where we experiment, reflect and learn together. Simultaneously, we use online collaboration technologies and communication tools such as Zoom. Remote First is offered in English, though other languages for in-house trainings, such as German, Spanish, Mandarin etc., are available upon request.
